Who runs ASTRA?
ASTRA is an independently Australian-owned and operating private organisation, from Brisbane, Australia and is run by Ben Jones.
Ben is the Managing Director and is well recognised for his knowledge and experience in implementing effective training strategies and systems to guide and direct onboarding, licencing and organisational skills requirements and takes a very pragmatic safety-based approach.
Ben has a strong history supporting a range of industry sectors from civil construction and maintenance, mining, oil and gas, transport and logistics, and local government. He is currently supporting a number of senior leadership teams in Australia to manage legislative requirements for providing instruction and training to get the most out of their people.
Ben has a strong team behind him made up of industry-experienced and dedicated training professionals and qualified trainers that are driven by quality outcomes and a ‘student-experience first’ mindset.
